Find Your Next Adventure

Not all roads are created equal. Some are smooth pavement. Some are loose gravel. Some lead to the best ride you've ever had.

Mazz Maps helps you discover the roads worth riding. Explore a shared map of rider-rated surfaces, build routes around the riding you love, and get out there knowing more about what's ahead. Bring your own routes and ride history with you: import, merge and export GPX, FIT and TCX files.

And when you find a great road? Rate it, share it, and help the next rider discover it too.

Ride farther. Explore more. Make every road count.

Currently available for iPhone only. App Store launch October 2026. Read the guide.

Why Mazz Maps?

We built Mazz Maps because finding a great ride shouldn't be harder than riding one.

The best cycling adventures often start with a road you've never ridden, a turn you've never taken, or a route someone else discovered and shared. But a map can tell you where a road goes without telling you what it's actually like to ride.

Is it smooth pavement? Loose gravel? A rough trail that might be better left to mountain bikes?

We think riders should have a say.

Mazz Maps brings road-surface information, route discovery, and ride analysis together in one place. You can explore new roads, plan your next adventure, import and merge routes from anywhere, record your ride, export it wherever you like, and contribute what you've learned for the riders who come after you.

Because the more we share, the better the map gets.

The goal is simple: less guessing, better rides, and more reasons to take the long way home.

Built for the way you ride

Discover roads worth riding

Explore a shared map of roads and trails, with surface information and ratings from riders who've actually been there. Find new possibilities and make more informed choices about where to ride. Or ignore it all, push your bike up a hiking trail, and call it a ride. Andrew and Bruce do.

Plan your own adventure

Build routes around the surfaces you enjoy. Preview distance, elevation, and road mix before you head out, then follow your route with turn-by-turn navigation and climb alerts.

Know your ride inside and out

Track speed, elevation, heart rate, power, cadence, and more. After the ride, dig into climbs, personal bests, splits, and detailed performance data.

Fitness trends

See where your fitness is heading. Fitness, fatigue and form, watts and distance per heartbeat, heart-rate drift, recovery after hard efforts, your power curve and how you ride on every grade, with forecasts and the science behind each number.

Apple Health integration

Heart rate, power and cadence from Apple Health fill in your ride tracks. Sleep, resting heart rate, HRV, VO₂ max and heart-rate recovery sit next to your rides, so you can see how rest shapes your riding and when you're ready to go hard. Your health data stays on your iPhone.

Make the map better for everyone

Found a great gravel road? Know a stretch that's rougher than it looks? Share what you know. Every rider who contributes helps the next person plan a better ride.

Ride together

Share routes with friends and follow each other's progress during group rides. Because an adventure is often better when you don't have to do it alone.

Import, merge & export

Bring in GPX, FIT and TCX files from Files, Mail or a zip. Load several at once and merge them into one route, then export your rides as FIT, TCX or GPX with all your sensor data.

Strava compatible

Send your rides to Strava and import your past activities so your history comes with you.

Ride it. Map it. Rate it.

The map grows with every ride.

Not every road will be mapped, and not every road will have a rating. That's where you come in.

Get out and ride. As you explore, Mazz Maps can automatically create road segments from the roads you ride, helping fill in the map one adventure at a time. You can also add roads yourself: draw a road, paint its ratings, drop markers, or edit and extend the roads already there. Rate the roads you discover and share your experience with the next rider who comes along.

See an unrated road? Be the first to rate it. Found a road that isn't on the map yet? Go ride it and help put it on the map.

Your ride. Your rating.

Not every cyclist looks for the same thing. One rider might love a rough, rocky gravel road, while another would rather find smooth, fast hardpack. A road that's perfect for a mountain bike might not be much fun on a road bike.

That's why Mazz Maps is about more than a single rating. Riders can have different opinions and preferences, and those differences are part of what makes the map useful.

Explore the ratings. See how other riders experience a road. Contribute your own perspective and find the roads that match the way you like to ride.

Every ride adds to the map. Every rating helps someone find their kind of adventure.

Made by a rider, for riders

Mazz Maps is built around a simple idea: cyclists deserve better information about the roads they ride.

It's for the gravel rider looking for a new loop, the road cyclist trying to avoid an unpleasant surprise, the explorer who takes every interesting turn, and the data nerd who wants to analyze every climb afterward.

You don't have to be a racer, ride a certain bike, or chase a particular number.

You just have to want to ride.
